AS S2 is copper coated submerged arc welding wire designed particularly for welding of mild steels.
It is used for submerged arc welding of unalloyed structural steels with a tensile strength up to 520 N/mm², ship's plates and fine grained carbon-manganese steels.
Yield Strength : 370 - 440 (N/mm²)
Tensile Strength : 450 - 530 (N/mm²)
Elongation (L=5d) : 25 - 30 (%)
